Muharrem Aytacoglu graduated with a bachelor’s degree in ME from Technical University of Istanbul , and received master of science degree in ME from Bogazici University.
From April 2013 until October 2016 , He was Regional Purchasing and Logistics Director at International Paper Turkey. International Paper , headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee,USA , is one of the world’s leading producers of fiber-based packaging, pulp and paper , and employs approximately 52,000 people worldwide in more than 24 countries.
Mr.Aytacoglu coordinated all buyers at plants for joint purchases to create synergy by analyzing market and industry conditions , developing supply recommendations , and negotiating the prices for awarding the suppliers with an annual spend around $200MM.
He started his procurement and logistics career with Olmuksa , a JV of International Paper-Sabancı , in 2002 as Purchasing and Logistics Manager. Prior , from 1996 to 2002 , Mr. Aytacoglu was Technical Manager at Olmuksa , a corrugated packaging company of Sabancı Holding. He liaised with plant managers to work on production efficiencies and the new investments.
